Situated on the Côte d’Azur, where the sea, sky, and earth closely converge and expand – our workshop will include this environment. Historically artists have been drawn to this area for the exquisite colors. Together we will explore in the ceramic studio and along the coastline. After these last several years, this time together will be exploratory, process-oriented, and grounding. In this 10-day workshop we will have the opportunity to learn new techniques and experiment specifically with paperclay and color gradients. We will discuss Cyanometers and the color of the sky. We will make, observe, and walk.
